Gustavo Henrique Silva, a 19-year-old Brazilian mercenary, arrived in Ukraine in May 2025 and joined the 7th Company 'Svoboda' of the Rubizh Brigade. He served on the front lines near Pokrovsk, was wounded, and later deserted to Poland in September 2025 after becoming disillusioned with the war.
